Bright round halo bet two 12-mag stars at 73x. Hint of spiral (concentric) structure in disk. At 168x, halo brightens a little toward nucleus; mottling across entire disk. Slight stellaring at nucleus. Edges more indistinct at high power.

Slight nuclear stellaring at 73x. Circular shape; At 168x, nucleus stellar, surrounded by pretty large core with knots of light; hint of detached lane beyond main halo margin. 13 mag star to NE. Margin edge on S is sharper.

Difficult, even at 4/9. A chunk of light, fairly even at 130x except for a few faint condensations along a very elongated halo. At 73x, margins of long sides are fairly distinct.

Elongated, spindle-shaped halo. No central brightening at 73; glow fairly smooth. At 130x, some texture revealed, but no major contrasts in halo. Ends fade off to points.

At 80x, seems to have 2 or 3 parts. At 148x, W "part" revealed to be very faint star on edge of almost circular halo. Nucleus very even; outer edges ragged.

Small and star-like at 60 and 80x. At 148x, appears very elongated. Bright center with pointy, wispy edges. Intense at this transparency. In field with 8 mag star.

At 73x, small, hazy patch making an equilateral triangle with two 12-mag stars. At 168x, halo is round, though with irregular margins; granular appearance with partial resolution of individual stars; significant brightening toward center. Hint of lanes of stars extending out from main mass.

At 73x, small, very elongated, SW of 12 mag star. Core brightens to almost stellar point. At 168x, nucleus is knotty; ends fade out to points. At 235x core region still knotty.

Looks very like spiral with stellar nucleus, brighter than 12.0. Circular/ round hazy extensions. Near 8.5 mag star.

Mottled oval disk at 80x. At 148x, an evenly bright, ragged, M1-like blob with no central brightening. Very low in W sky.

Elongated and very bright at 73x, with distinct central bulge. Edge-on spiral elongated SW-NE. At 168x core bright and almond or S- shaped. With AV, disk extends to 1/4 field of 14mm ep, ends very faint.  Core shows slight stellaring toward N with dark area just S of this bright portion of core.
