Oval/ round halo, very bright at 73x,
with stellar nucleus, concentric dust lanes and spiral structure
evident. At 168x, numerous condensations of light in disk, which is
evenly bright all the way to margins. Fabulous galaxy. |

At 73x, oval halo with bright knotty
nucleus. At 168x, outer margins are pretty ragged, stellaring at
nucleus very faint (only seen briefly with AV when seeing clears).
With AV, halo becomes more elongated and edges become very ragged. |

At 73x, very elongated, NW-SE. N of 13

Ends extend out to points with AV. Strange object. |

At 73x, just S of 9.5 mag star. Elongated
halo with elongated brighter core. Not stellaring at nucleus. At 168x,
core has texture and some condensations near center, as well as a dim
dark streak with AV in N portion of core. Margins of halo fuzzy, but
discernable. At 235x, Av shows elongated halo. With DV, oval core
dominates. |
