At 130x, seems to have two bright components & stellar center. At 235, halo elongated slightly E-W; center brightness blinks on and off with AV; outer margins irregular.

Acquired at 73x as small patch with no  texture or light variation within elongated halo.  At 268x, bright oval oriented SW-NE just W of 13 mag star. Disk has smooth texture, with no stellaring; outer margins fairly distinct. Two 11 mag stars to the NW in 14mm field. Just N of 5576.

Looks stellar at 723x. At 168x, only slightly oval, but becomes more elongated (E-W) with AV. Very faint (13+ mag) star to NW. Nucleus looks stellar at times in the middle of a very small, sharply defined core region. Outer margins even but indistinct.

Small oval disk with brighter center at 73x. Round halo expands evenly around core with AV. At 168x, effect of DV=elongated, AV=round is greater. Takes higher mag well. Stellar nucleus at 168x. Core  is flare-like toward center; outer margins fade out gradually.

At 168x, round halo sitting just W of 9-10 mag star. Flare of brightness at core, with subtle spoke forms, but no resolution. At 235x, shape is more irregular, with some granularity; spokes more obvious. A few stellar points with AV at times, though it almost disappears with DV at times.

N of two 11 mag stars. Very small at 73x, with some brightening toward center. At 235x, core is granular, with bright spokes trailing out to NE and SE. Just beyond resolution with DV. With AV, some areas appear to resolve. There is another 12+ mag star to E. margins to E are more distinct. To W, body of cluster fades out a bit more smoothly.

At 73x, very elongated halo, oriented generally N-S, just to SE of 9 mag star, which is just off the edge of halo. At 168x, halo looks fatter, but no stellaring at nucleus. E margin pretty distinct, W less so. Hint of granularity in disk & core area (central bulge?) is a bit brighter than extended arms.
