At 80x about twelve 12+ magnitude members are visible. 148X shows about 25 stars of 12+magnitude, with hint of additional members in background. E. of 7 mag star.

At 80+ a large patch of just resolved 13-14 mag stars, N=35-40. At 148x, stars arranged in many curved lanes. bounded by three brighter (10-11 mag) stars.

Hazy patch in finder. At 80x, eight-ten 11+ mag stars with haze of unresolved stars behind. At 148x, forty-fifty ~14 mag stars barely resolved amid brighter ones. (Wind blowing scope.)

Almost round at 80x with brightening at core. Even halo in outer regions. At 148x nucleus looks stellar at times. Spiral arms extend to points on E-W axis. Complex structure/ mottling.

N-S streak at 60x, brighter toward core, with very tenuous outlying arms. At 148x, center expands slightly, with faint halo surrounding. Arms extend out to more than 6" at 148x.

Nebulosity visible in finder.  20-25 brighter members (11+ mag), with at least 50 dimmer (13-14 mag) members. At 148x, bg is a nebulous sheen of stars and glowing gas. 80x with O-III shows a bright knot of nebulosity in center of cluster.

Very faint at 80x. At 148x, halo is a ragged oval between two 12+ mag stars. No significant central brightening. NGC 7465-64 nearby (very faint.)

Very diffuse oval halo, extremely difficult to find at this seeing. Slightly oval, mottling evident, but no central brightening, although there is a hint of a slender bar there with DSF.

Even light across oblong disk. Ends are pointed, giving it a spindle shape. No central brightening. At 148x disk becomes mottled, with 3-4 star-like flecks seen with AV near core. 12-14 mag stars at either end.

At 80x, very bright, sharply defined disk with no detail (greenish color very noticeable) At 148x, very small, central dark area evident. Slightly oblong disk.

Noticeably brighter than 7723, tho with similar figure. Stellar core. Outer margins fairly distinct. Core looks double at times of better seeing with AV.

80 At 80x, twenty-five 12+ mag stars in a loose, fairly large grouping with bg haze; dark area in center. Many members appear red or orange. At 148x, central dark area less distinct, surrounded by 100-150+ very dim (~14 mag) stars, many just barely resolved.

At 80x three 11+ mage stars in obtuse triangle shape, bordering a hazy patch with some barely resolved members. In 148x this patch seen to be a very densely packed glob of faint stars, of which several dozen are resolved to points.

At 148x, large bright core surrounded by hazy disk. With averted vision, core has a stellar point and texture and mottling evident in core region. Halo is oblong, oriented SE-NW.
